Guest Introduction
Charlene Chang, Partner Growth Manager, Square K.K.
Charlene Chang currently works as Partner Growth Manager at Square Japan, the work is building and growing meaningful partnerships for the Square ecosystem, including system integration and channel collaborations. Her career began at Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan (now Sony Interactive Entertainment), managing channel sales and product marketing for PlayStation products in the Taiwan market. Later on, Charlene joined ID TECH as Overseas Sales Manager, looking after Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Australia etc, sourcing new opportunities and delivering custom payment hardware for clients. She moved from Taiwan to Tokyo in 2020 following her partner’s job transfer, and then in 2022 moved to Sendai for its natural beauty, abundant outdoor activities, delicious food, and convenient access to both Tokyo and Taiwan. Now she is loving life in Sendai with family and 2 cats.
Shubhamkumar Pandey, Senior AI Engineer, Adansons
Shubhamkumar Pandey is a Senior AI Engineer at an AI company named Adansons. Currently, he is working on improving AI models and optimizing training for enterprises. In the past, he has worked on research projects with NEDO Japan. He completed his bachelor’s of Technology from IIT Mandi, and while in his bachelor’s program, he had the opportunity to work with a Japanese company as a summer intern, and he is still working with them. His main driver towards Sendai was the team at Adansons.

Important Information
Application: The event is free to attend and will accommodate up to 20 participants. Please register by Thursday, August 21st, 2025, to secure your spot. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a calendar invitation.
Language: The event will primarily be conducted in English. During networking time, conversations in both English and Japanese are welcome.
Refreshments: Snacks will be prepared. Bring your own coffee and drinks.
