Our upcoming event, "How Products Are Built Inside Tech Companies (at age of AI)," is the fifth in the Campus Talk series. In this interactive session, students will learn how designers, engineers, and product managers collaborate to transform ideas into real software, and gain early insights on how AI tools are reshaping design, development workflows, and the future of product creation.
Exclusive to Temple University Japan Campus students and hosted in collaboration with the Computer Science department, this event is designed to be accessible to all majors curious about the tech industry. No prior coding or design experience is required—just come ready to learn and explore!

Guest and Topic Introduction
Riccardo Parenti, UX Design Lead, Amazon
Riccardo Parenti is a Lead UXD at Amazon Japan, where he leads customer experience strategy for Amazon Rewards and incentives across large scale ecosystems. His work sits at the intersection of design systems and product strategy. Prior to Amazon he worked across local startups and international teams, navigating ambiguity, scale, and cultural complexity.

This lecture explains how modern tech companies build digital products. Students will learn how designers, engineers, and product managers collaborate to transform ideas into real software. It introduces concepts like Agile, sprints, MVP, and prototyping, and explores how AI tools are reshaping design, development workflows, and the future of product creation.

Fee and registration: This event will be held in English and is free to participate. The total participants is up to 35. It is exclusive to the Temple University Japan Campus students, and therefore not open to public registration.
