Theme: ENVISION: How do we belong to the world in the age of AI?
ENVISION is a bilingual one-day workshop for university students built around one central question: How do we belong to the world in the age of AI?
AI is changing how industries work, what skills matter, and what careers even look like. Maybe you’re excited. Maybe you’re anxious. Maybe you’re just trying to figure out where you fit. ENVISON gives you a space to do exactly that, you don’t just sit and listen — you dig in, push back, and figure out what you actually think — then pitch your own vision for the future you want to build.
The goal isn’t to hand you answers, it’s to help you find your own. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a clearer sense of who you are, what you want, and how to get there.

Meet the Judges
Takuya Abe, CEO, Solum Inc.
Takuya Abe is the CEO of Solum Inc. Previously, he served as Executive Officer at UiPath, where he joined as the first technical hire in Japan and led the adoption of white-collar automation through numerous large-scale enterprise projects. Earlier, he managed the engineering team behind Rakuten's ad delivery platform.
Massimiliano Schilliro, Senior Program Manager, Amazon Japan
Massimiliano Schilliro is a Senior Program Manager at Amazon Japan, where he leads strategic initiatives to optimize customer and driver support experiences at scale. With over a decade of leadership experience in Japan’s tech and e-commerce sectors—including serving as Market Director for Coates Japan and managing AI deployments at Rakuten—he specializes in translating customer signals into operational improvements.
Kentaro Machii, Program Manager, Startup Division, JETRO Tokyo
Kentaro Machii is a Program Manager at Startup Division, JETRO Tokyo. He previously served at ERIA, a Jakarta-based international think tank, leading research and policy development on ASEAN startup ecosystems. Prior to that, he supported cross-border open innovation at JETRO Jakarta and contributed to trade negotiation at Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

Congqin is a purpose-driven founder focused on connecting academia with the professional sphere. Her background includes over a decade of experience spanning global technology, consulting, higher education, and startup ventures.She helps students build confidence by identifying their unique strengths and turning perceived weaknesses into career advantages.

Pitch & Feedback Session
Pitch your vision and ideas to the Sharks to join the movement, in English, Japanese, or a mix of both! (No slides.)
Each team has 8 minutes: 3 minutes for the pitch itself, followed by 5 minutes dedicated to Q&A and feedback.
Pitch without slides?
You can use creative alternatives such as posters, zines, and prototypes, along with role-playing. Bring any physical materials or props that you’d like to use.

Important Notes
Registration: The maximum capacity is 30 participants. Successful registration will receive a Google Calendar Invitation. The application deadline is Monday, June 22, 2026. Detailed information will be shared by the day before the event.
TIB Membership: To participate, please download the TIB app, register as a member, and obtain your QR Code for entry.
Language: The event is bilingual (Japanese/English). Groups may choose their preferred language for activities and final pitches.
Refreshment: Pizza and soft drinks will be provided for lunch. Participants are responsible for managing their own dietary restrictions and allergies.
Photography: Photos and videos will be taken during the event and may be used on alliz websites or social media. If you prefer not to be featured, please inform the organizers in advance.
