Event Overview
Do you ever feel like you are moving forward on the outside, yet being pulled back by something on the inside? Maybe you are changing jobs, adapting to a new environment, living abroad, or facing important life decisions on your own. You know you need to keep going, but your body feels tired, your mind is numb, and it’s getting harder to hear what you truly want.
Join us for Linkyu Nature Awareness Walk, a monthly small-group experience organized by Linkyu. Through breathing practice, a simple awareness experiment, stretching, and reflection in nature, we will gently bring our attention back to the body and the present moment. The group size is kept small, with up to 8 participants, so everyone can feel comfortable and have enough space.
This walk may not bring the answers right away — but it can help quiet the noise so you can hear yourself again.
This event is for you, if you are…?
In a new job. In a career transition. Deciding to stay in Japan or to go elsewhere.
Telling yourself you'll slow down later — always later.
Thinking, the visa's sorted, the routine works — but is this actually what you want?
In need of a few hours in nature, outside, off your devices.
Linkyu Nature Awareness Walk in August ~ Returning to Yourself in Nature ~
About the walk
Nature may not address all your challenges. But after long periods of focused work and mental exhaustion, being in nature can offer a softer kind of attention: noticing trees, sounds, wind, footsteps, and breath, without even forcing yourself to concentrate.
Our route passes by Jimmuji Temple, a historic Buddhist temple said to have been founded in the 8th century and long associated with mountain worship in the Zushi area. The quiet temple setting adds a sense of history and stillness to the walk, inviting us to slow down and notice what is present around us and within us. During the route, you will also encounter some interesting challenges in the form of obstacles on the trail, such as climbing rocks using chains. Overcoming these obstacles will provide a unique form of relief and evoke a sense of satisfaction.
Last time, some participants shared that something shifted during the walk — they began to see nature not as something to simply take from, but as a mutual relationship they were part of. For some, that shift didn't stop with the walk —It made them wonder where else in their lives they had been taking instead of listening. If something comes up during the walk that you would like to explore further, we can continue the conversation online. During lunch break, we will share what a coaching conversation can look like for those interested — it’s a one-on-one space to think out loud together about what's on your mind.

Organizers
Linkyu
Linkyu (リンキュー / 灵与) is a life coaching project created to support people living abroad or going through transitions in reconnecting with themselves and finding their next step. By creating a safe, trust-based space, Linkyu helps people clarify their thoughts through conversation, notice emotions and values, and turn insights into small, practical actions they can bring back into everyday life. With a theme of rebuilding connections across language and culture between self, others, and the wider world, Linkyu also offers experiences that combine coaching with time in nature.
About Linkyu and alliz:
Kangkang is the founder of Linkyu and a mentor on alliz. As alliz supports people in career exploration and transition through information, community, and mentorship, Linkyu offers this monthly Nature Awareness Walk as a gentle space to slow down, step into nature, and reconnect with what matters personally beyond information and networking. Participants who would like a coaching conversation to think through what's next for them can book time with Kangkang through the alliz platform directly.
