Event Overview

Campus Talk is an initiative to bring mentorship experience to university campuses. It connects university students with experienced industry mentors to help them explore career paths and take ownership of their professional development early on.

This is the 7th event in our Campus Talk series. In this session, "Getting Into Games the Long Way," Kevin, Founder & CEO of Delta Quest,  will share his journey from exchange student to engineering leadership at top Japanese tech companies, and ultimately to founding his own company. He will provide practical insights into job hunting in Japan as an international student, key skills and experiences that transfer from web engineering to game development, and the unique challenges of transitioning between these fields.

This event is exclusive to Temple University Japan Campus students and is hosted in collaboration with the Computer Science department. It is designed to be accessible to all majors curious about the tech industry. No prior coding experience or technical knowledge is required—just come ready to learn and explore!

Who is this for?

  • Computer Science major/minor students at any level

  • Students seeking guidance on career design and growth

  • Students curious about tech and non-tech career paths

  • Students interested in mentorship opportunities and real-world insights

  • Students interested in networking with professionals
