Learn with alliz is an online learning series where industry professionals share practical insights into their day-to-day work, tools, and roles in the tech field. Each one-hour session features a dedicated speaker breaking down their workflow and offering actionable takeaways for both students and working professionals.

This is the 1st event in our Learn with alliz series. In this session, "AI as a Coding Companion," Gustavo Minoru, Full-Stack Engineer at alliz, will share his approach to using artificial intelligence—specifically Claude—to support and accelerate their coding workflows. 

This event is hosted entirely online and is open to anyone curious about web development and the practical applications of AI in software engineering. No advanced AI knowledge is required—just come ready to learn and explore!

Gustavo Minoru, Full-Stack Engineer, alliz
Gustavo Minoru is a system analyst and developer based in Japan with a diverse background in full-stack web development, education, manufacturing, IT support, and the military. His main areas of expertise include React, TypeScript, Go, and GraphQL. He currently works extensively with Claude, using AI to support and accelerate his coding workflow.

Topic: AI as a Coding Companion
AI is changing how developers approach problems, not just how quickly they write code. I’ll explore how AI can support different stages of my workflow: turning ideas into experiments, navigating Git, implementing and reviewing code, understanding unfamiliar concepts, and continuously learning new ways to build software.
